Question: A train 330 m long running at the speed of 110 kmph crosses another train running in opposition direction at the speed of 90 kmps in 9 seconds. Then find the length of other train?
Type:
Type 4 problem.
Summary:
Speed of the Train = 200 kmph (110 kmph Train 1 + 90 kmph Train 2)
Lenght of the Train = 330 m + X
Train Crossed in 9 seconds.
Formula
200*1000 = 3600
x 9
2,00,000 * 9 = 3600 x
x = 18,000/36
x = 500
Total length is 500 m
=> Length of other Train is 170 m (500 m - 330 m)
Answer 170 m
